Staying True To Your Roots

In 2008, Wolf Tree Inc. joined The Davey Tree Expert Company and is now a subsidiary of Davey. A former Davey employee, Jacob Wolf's early training is rooted in the Davey Company. He attended the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences in the early 1920s and was the youngest foreman in Davey's history during his tenure with the company. The Davey Tree Expert Company provides tree, shrub and lawn care, utility services, large tree moving, commercial grounds management and consulting services throughout North America. Founded in 1880, Davey is employee owned and has more than 7,000 employees.

• Mechanical Tree Trimmer: With either wheeled or track carriers, our 70-foot mechanical trimmers allow smaller crews to do more work in less time. Because workers never leave the ground, this method of trimming is safer.
• Herbicide Application Truck: Herbicide applications control brush and weeds in right of way and substations. Trained herbicide applicators, benefiting from our 80 years in vegetation control, provide integrated vegetation management.
